Do you know for a certainty, without any doubt that you are on your way to Heaven?

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The scripture says in Hebrews 9: 22 “And as it is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the judgment.”

This tells us that all of us will die as we leave this earth, no controversy there. We all see it every day. The question then becomes, what happens to us after this death of our flesh? The last phrase of this verse says, “after that the judgment.” This clearly tells us that there is something after death. Although a small percentage of the world’s population believe that death is the end that there is nothing more after that, most people believe that there is a hereafter. As Christians we believe that there is a Heaven and a Hell. For those of us who believe, our goal is to reach Heaven. The great controversy lies in how we get to the Heaven we seek.

For those of us who are Christians, there is no doubt. Because of the Bible, which we believe without doubt is the divine Word of the God we serve; the Great God Jehovah, who created us in His own image; we have an assurance that we can make It to Heaven. Even history has recorded the events that transpired resulting in our redemption and salvation.  Few deny the existence of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, but many deny who He really was. As a Christian, I have the assurance that He was and is the Messiah promised by the prophets of old.

If you are seeking today to find your destiny and to secure your place in eternity, please continue to read and you will see how easy it is to insure that you will make it to Heaven. The best thing about this is that it is free to all who seek. Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

If you are reading this and you do not know for sure you are going to Heaven, I will assume you are seeking the answer. Jesus Christ is the answer. He is always the answer. Keep reading and I will explain the plan God has in place that will secure you a place in Heaven.

In Romans 3:23, Paul wrote, “For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.”

This verse establishes that we all born into this world as sinners. We all start out on a level playing field. None are different, we are all the same. Where we end up in eternity is what is important. The choices we make on earth determines our destiny in eternity. This may be the most important day of your life. If you are in the “Valley of decision”, read on.

In Romans 6:23 Paul said, “But the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.” This scripture tells us clearly that the only way to the eternal life we seek is through Jesus Christ. The best part is that it tells us that it is a “Gift of God”. Gifts cost us nothing. It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor, because God does not want payment for eternal life. It is God’s gift to all of us who will receive it.

In John 3:3, Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of GOD.” Being "Born Again" is a concept presented by Jesus Christ himself. However, there is much confusion in the church as well as the world surrounding this concept.If you read further in John 3, Jesus explains it clearly. Being  “Born Again” simply means to be given new Spiritual life through Christ; to accept and believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins that you, through Him might have eternal life. It is the change of heart wrought in the individual by the Holy Spirit, which enables him to understand and act upon the truth of God’s Word.

John 14:6 says, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me.” As Christians, we know beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus is the only way to get to Heaven.

In Romans 10:9-10 Paul wrote, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

You see, it truly is that simple. Are you ready to invite Jesus into your heart and into your life? If the answer to this question is yes, the final step is surprisingly easy. Simply pray and believe the following prayer.

Father, I thank you for the gift of eternal life. I know that I, as all men, am a sinner in need of salvation. I am truly sorry for the sins I have committed in the past and humbly ask for your forgiveness.

Jesus I believe You died on the Cross of Calvary for my sins, and that You arose again on the third day. I open the door of my heart and ask you to come into my life. I place my complete trust in You alone for eternal life. I choose to follow You as my Lord and Saviour. Please help me to be the person God wants me to be.
